At this crucial time in our history, with wars abroad and markets melting at home, the true question this year is this: how can we really elect anybody to the Oval Office? Can we truly expect a mere mortal to occupy the office of Roosevelt(s), Wilson, and Fillmore? I think we're a generation away from seeing another human find the gumption and seize the presidency.
Truth be told much of America has complained about the other "side" the entire time we've been a nation with a President, and we've had good ones from each "side." Some still refuse to acknowledge the greats based solely on party affiliation.
Not me. Republicans have had one great president, one really good president, and one good president. Unfortunately, I don't think any of the three would recognize their party today.
