do you have actual numbers to cite? i do, and they show a 10% increase. please show exactly where in the times article they provide actual numbers to back up their claims. tia.
I showed you what the times said. They didn't post some kind of P&L table. They quoted it and informed the readers where they got their information from. Contrary to your dismissive quip it wasn't from Think Progress. It's possible that like the bridge to nowhere, and firing the librarian, she changed her mind after she took a lot of heat.
so, you have no data to support your claim? thanks, thought as much. please refrain in the future from repeating scurrilous accusations w/ no evidence to back it up.
basso I have posted a credible source which makes a claim and sites where their numbers have come from. As others have noted you haven't posted anything supporting your claim at all. Where is your evidence to back it up? I'm not the NY Times editor. If you don't believe the figures used by the NY Times then you need to take it up with them and not me. If you have evidence to question what they wrote then spit it out. Otherwise your just spinning your wheels for no reason.
basso's not quite up to his game yet, so I'll help him out. link Because when I think of support for special needs kids, I immediately think of funding for the special olympics. Come on boys....if we can't CONQUOR with PIZZAZZ and graphics we could at least try to be a little accurate.
That link provided the same amount of evidence as the other link, which you argued against. Where is your proof?
Do you prefer this link? Sometimes thinkprogress, huffy, and kos are not quite as impartial as they appear . Funding went from $250K to $275K --- I think they had requested $550K. And this is probably the most scrutiny the Alaskan special olympics budget has ever had. But this is IMPORTANT stuff...
