Thanks a lot Cincinnati. Once one of your final four team goes out in the second round you can pretty much just consider your Brackets a bust. I'm finished.

Cinci should've been going into halftime up by twenty after the way completely dominated UCLA the first half, but they were just outcoached. UCLA made some huge adjustments in the second half, and Cinci looked lost.

However, I find it kind of disturbing that the #1 seed plays UCLA in the second round, while the #2 is playing the powerhouse that is Xavier. This just goes to show how little the seedings really matter.

I sort of agree on that.... Although Xavier is a lot better than you might think. UCLA is much better than an 8 seed, they're more like a 3 or 4. Also, they've beaten 2 #1s too now..... I wouldn't be surprised if they went to the Final Four.

I think UCLA is a lot like Missouri. They have the 2-4 seed talent, but they didn't demonstrate it during the season. The committee can't really seed on talent, so some poor teams like Miami and Cinci get to play ultra-talented teams in early rounds.

UCLA has made the sweet 16 5 of the last 6 years too. In hindsight, this result doesn't look too surprising! Of course, most of us still didn't predict it!!

One thing: Does Steve Logan look exactly like DMX, or is that just me?

For the record- i picked UCLA to beat Cincy, Kent St. to beat Alabama, and Mizzou to make it to the sweet 16. Seriously.

However, i did have USC in the final four. :( It all balances itself out, i guess.....

...not to rub salt in the wounds, but, AND Southern Illinois to beat Georgia! Geez, the bracket gods must be setting me up for one BIG letdown.... I am currently in the top 99.3% in the nation on the ESPN Tourney challenge thing.

thanks, major. Yeah, it's looking good now, being like 1,024 in the nation, top 99.8%, but i'm gonna take a big hit if duke keeps winning. :( That switch i made to usc over duke might really kill me.

I think i just got lucky with my upsets. I thought bama and georgia were really overrated, and i guess i went the right direction with kent st and s. illinois beating them. And mizzou as a 12 seed? Miami and Ohio St. can both agree that the tigers were WAY underseeded.

what i hate now is that i picked Oregon to beat texas in the sweet 16. :( I went to Texas, and obviously i want to win. I guess the payoff if Texas loses is that we've exceeded expectations, and i picked the game right. My final four is USC, OU, Maryland, and Oregon, with maryland over OU in the final game.
