    Go to Katy

Then find a gas staion in one of the neighborhoods; i.e., not on the freeway. Katy has had power, food, and gas since Sunday, and their stations NOT on the freeway are being refilled constantly.

I got over here at 8 last night and only had one car in front of me when I filled up.

    The station I went to:

Go I 10 west to the "Westgreen" exit (just past Fry Road)
Go south on Westgreen to Kingsland (approx. 2 miles) to Kingsland
Turn right on Kingsland and the Shell station will be on your right

If not there, I'm sure you'll find it on Fry, Mason, Grand Parkway, or any other major Katy exit.

Again, just get off of the freeway a bit

yup, we filled up with gas just a couple blocks down Mason Road north of I-10 without having to wait in line, whereas every gas station south of I-10 had a line at least 20 cars long.

Alief Clodine @ Synott (Texaco) and I think it was $3.69

Alief Clodine @ Cook (Coastal) and I don't remember the price.

For other people seeking help, please put your location in the request.

We went down to our inlaws near Edna, TX for a couple days. I had to come back for work and we were able to easily get gas all the way up to Rosenburg. So if you are in that part of town, I bet you can get gas pretty easily right out past Sugarland.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

I think Fema needs to invent a Mobile gas station where they can drive up and distribute from the tank directly.

fyi...Sams Club in Stafford/Sugarland @ 59 is pretty much drive up and go. but you need a membership.

in retrospect, the city should ration gas station ahead of the storm. maybe designate some stations to shut down ahead of time, so that additional gas stations are available afterwards

I live on Katy. Ha. The gas stations are abnormally filled, but it hasn't gotten to the point where there are lines around the station.

Deer Park/Pasadena area, hit the station on the corner of Genoa-Red Bluff and Space Center BLVD. They only have regular and my car takes premium, but I needed gas and only waited in line for around 10 minutes. Cash only btw.
