Daniel Inouye's a war hero and Senator. In fact, he was a medical volunteer at Pearl Harbor, won the Bronze star, Purple Heart, and the Congressional Medal of Honor. He's no celebrity. Max Cleland's a war hero and ex-senator. He's no celebrity. Jack Reed's an ex-Army Ranger and Senator. He's no celebrity. Jim Webb was awarded the the Navy Cross, the Silver Star Medal, two Bronze Star Medals, and two Purple Hearts and he's a Senator. He's even written books, but he's no celebrity. McCain wanted to be a celebrity.
