Energy just released a statement saying their whole grid has to be rebuilt. So, for us up in Montgomery Co. and Some parts of Kingwood. It will be 3-4 weeks before power is back on
Same here. Seems everyone and everything else is getting power around me, but not our house. My brother lives in an apartment complex right by the Fountains Shopping Center and has had power since Saturday afternoon as well as a lot of his cable channels.
Where are you seeing this? I saw on their website that the Sabine grid needs serious work, but not necessarily the Lewis Creek plant (Mont. Cty.). Said it's offline, but just waiting for transmission to be restored. I'm trying to let my parents in The Woodlands know so they can make plans to come stay with me in Austin.
I am not sure about west Montgomery County, but all the east is ran off the Beaumont grid, they say it is completely destroyed and will have to rebuild the whole grid, heard it on the radio earlier. 3-4 weeks is what the press conference on the radio said. Plus the 22 other counties/parishes without power, it will be a while before the power is on. I am sure most of that is for liberty county as well
Power just came on here (77076) It seems to only be my side of the street. The folks across the street still don't have any. Comcast is up and running too.

just got word from some of the crews working here in tanglewood that power will take at least one week... perhaps up to three.
77081 - lost power at 11:30 Friday Night. Part of the neighborhood has power, but the pole that supplies my house is split into to pieces. Not sure when they will come fix it... I'm posting this from my laptop in the Galleria.
