There's another thread listing open businesses. Maybe this one could be list only for neighborhoods. We evacuated this morning to Brenham. Eager to hear when lights are back in Montrose.
I've been watching the Centerpoint updates and getting electricity back on seems like a slow process. I've seen them return electricity to about 300-400,000 residents in the past 24 hours or so, I guess... it could be several days before everybody's back on the grid.
Have AC, internet and running water (not cable tv though) here in Pasadena, but I'm on the Bayshore hospital grid. I found out from a neighbor it came on at 11 last night. My parents right down the road still have nothing.
cypress springs hs area is back online with power and internet. bear creek area east of hwy 6 is spotty.
montgomery country is pretty much blacked out. haven't seen lights and when I did I heard generators running. total darkness.
Repost from another thread: No power in Magnolia (montgomery county). Center Point crew drove through my neighborhood doing a survey and told folks due to all the power lines that were taken out by falling trees, we were looking at at least 2 weeks, maybe 3 -4.
JUST got my Cable TV back on. Now everything is working in Pasadena 77504. Pretty happy to be on the hospital grid. I'm praying for you guys without power, but this cold front should help with the humidity at least. My parents 1/5 of a mile from me still have nothing.
