Game starts at 7pm, no TV, FM 97.5 ESPN, can also follow on CSTV gametracker. It pains me to say it, but Vandy's gotta be a somewhat heavy favorite in this. I would've given the owls half a chance had they not lost two starting linebackers against Memphis. Still, the key for the Owls is to start out fast. Vandy's not used to seeing a spread and Rice has got to exploit that early and often. Forcing Vandy to play from behind will impel them to throw more, which they aren't as comfortable doing in their run-happy O. Hopefully Rice keeps it close against this "powerhouse" from the SEC...we all know what Rice can do in the 4th!
Alright, the game's winding down... In the end, Vandy kept chuggin along and Ric eventually got worn down. currently: Vandy 38, Rice 21 Vandy's about to score again, so the final score might be different... Rice @ UT next week!!
