I hate that stupid policy where they don't announce the financial terms. It's not like we won't know eventually.

The past few years must have been tough... not being valued as a person for even one moment since senior year of high school and all.

I assume the Cavs signed him for a reasonable price like $4MM/yr for 3-4 years. If he had made that wide-open 3-pointer to tie game 7 against Boston, this contract would have been done sooner and for more money.

If the Cavs continue to play defense at the same level, they are a Finals contender and can beat anyone in the East in a 7-game playoff series. I expect them to finish with the 1st or 2nd best record in the conference.

3 years / $12.5M. Third year is a team option, but West is owed $500k guaranteed if the option is not picked up.

not a bad signing but overpaid same as bjax. I dont think cleveland is very good.. even with west and williams. There frontcourt is mediocore.. BIG Z?? yeah right. Cleveland is kinda like orlando 02-03 only Bron is better then tmac. sorry, no respect for cleveland i just hate lebron james

I don't see how that's overpaid. West is bigger than BJax, has arguably a better shot, is a better playmaker and is undoubtedly the better defender.

3 years at 12.5 mill is a very very reasonable amount for him.

I do agree that the Cavs team is jacked though. They have Gibson, West and Mo Williams now. None of which are pure point guards, and all of which are too undersized to play the 2-spot. Too many undersized gunners, and they still don't have a legit 2-guard.

their back court rotation (albeit only PG's) has really shaped up over the past year. west, gibson, and wiliams are all play makers who can spread the floor and create their own shot.
