So my garage door does not open manually and I am debating whether to leave my garage door open and park my car in the agarge, or close the garage door and park the car outside. My fear is that if we lose power and my car is in the garage, I'll be immobile until the power returns. Thoughts?
Galleria/Uptown here. Lotsa wind and trees blowing, still have power. Saw a dude on his lawn chair just taking it all in a few hours earlier while I picked some stuff up.
Hilarious to see sports anchors reporting for duty like Bob Allen. "It's really picking up now." from outside the Ch. 13 studio. No it's not Bob.
I laughed at that report too.....talk about just trying to make something up to say....my apt complex is next to channel 13 i shouldve stayed there just to get on tv!
can you not unhook your automatic garage door to open it manually? hwy 6 and w belfort here....no electricity issue yet but strong winds
If I were you I would leave it outside in a spot that is far away from trees (if you can) and pray it makes it through. Its more likely that your power will shut off than a tree will fall on your car, and if that happens, you will want access you your vehicle.
Seriously. We haven't even had a flicker here in Pasadena and we're getting some VERY heavy gusts right now. Of course, I just jinxed us.
