reporting from Hobby...neighbor's huge pine tree is swaying back and forth. moved all 4 cars out of it's way.

 

Wind gusting and trees swaying bad here by west rd and highway 6.

My power has been out for about an hour now and I live on southwest side

 

All five of us are sitting on the pool deck enjoying the huge gusts and sipping on cool Red Stripes. Pasadena is getting some niiiiice gusts right now, but still no rain. I've heard a couple of transformers blows, but thankfully we've got power.

 

yeah, i just felt a really strong wind gust, almost knocked my laptop out of my hands

BTW- The eye line is now on the eastern edge of Beltway 8 and not through the center of the city per KHOU.

Power still steady here in 77082 ... wind gusting heavily and it's starting to rain.

 

First tree down across the street from where I am in the Heights. It was a dead tree and it snapped. Nothing amazing.

Winds here gusting to around 50mph. No rain.
