Dumbest show ever.

Yeah I'm not a fan and I don't think it will last.. The show has lame hosts and the show takes it self too seriously, these shows work best when they can make jokes during the action I.E. Wipeout..

 

Wipeout is a much better, and funnier show.

Wipeout = mxs from Spike = japanese show

 

Wipeout was cool the first time I watched it. I have watched since.

 

Hole in the wall would be a lot better if didn't take itself so seriously, if they didn't require the men to wear skin-tight body suits (eww!) and if the final 100k dollar challenge wasn't a blind wall but instead multiples coming at the contestants (and they have to quickly get through one after another, each time they get more money).

Is kind of interesting though.

And agree on Wipeout...it's a lame knock off of MXC.

 

I saw the 1/2 hour preview last week. Seems like it would get really old really fast.

On Wipeout, 3/4 of the events are always almost exactly the same. It too can get repetitive and boring, just not as quickly.

 

I gave it a shot because my girlfriend wanted to watch it...but after two viewings I can officially deem it terrible.

It's not fun to watch people constantly suck at the game.

It's not fun to listen to the annoying female host shriek and giggle non-stop.

It's not fun to see the contestants act like r****ds on speed.

It's not fun to hear "It's time, to face, THE HOLE!" 20 times a show. Ok, that part might be kinda fun.

 

In other news, Fox programming is being considered as a replacement for MENSA testing with "How F#$%@ Dumb Are You?" which will air at 8 P.M. Monday.

 

Dude, I didn't even give it a shot. It just seemed ridiculous from the previews.

 

If you watch the show then you fail the test and must announce to the world that you are f#$%@ dumb.

 

Wipeout is a ripoff of Takeshi's Castle with a little bit of Ninja Warrior except it's not as funny as Takeshi's (especially not with the MXC voiceovers) and not as awesome as Ninja Warrior.

That's just the first stage, there are 3 more I believe. The show only airs twice a year, so there have been only 20 competitions and only 2 people have ever won the whole thing.

 

They give away the endings to some of the more exciting one on the previews. Way to go, Fox!

Ya'll gotta see the message boards on the show's official site on foxworld.com . They're ripping it apart. They're saying "How can you show the entire world how DUMB we Americans [sic] are? "

It's terrible. I just record the show, then go back and skip all the host silly chatter and see the wipeouts. Dumb people.

 

Yes, but nothing beats watching your fellow Americans humiliate themselves on ridiculous obstacles.

 

Someone actually watched this crap? What in the previews actually made anyone say, "Hey, this looks like a cool show."?

 

As a show, I'm sure it's absolutely unwatchable, since they stretch out everything and only have a couple minutes of action. But I saw some clips on youtube and when you just watch the "holes" themselves it's not so bad.

 

Thing is, show's like this in Asia uses low B and C list/over the hill "celebrities" to compete, which is half of the appeal. Think the surreal life or even roard rules/real world challege. Semi-famous people doing dumb stuff. Still dumb, but atleast you know the contestants a little bit and you'll know they'll do dumb crap just to have more buzz. I'd watch this show if they do a Brady Bunch vs. Full House episode, 90210 Old class vs. New Class or something.
