    Just curious: Are we going to have any more updated tracking models, or is the hurricane too close to landfall now? The daily 2:00 PM models on Weather Underground show nothing in the way of tracking.

    Does anyone else think the announcement that calls to 911 will not be answered after a certain time tonight? It kind of gives criminals an open notice to wreak havoc.

    This is in LARGE PART due to the Mayor and City Planner saying NOT to leave a couple of days ago. If I have a home to go back to, I'll help ride them out of town on a rail. Idiots.

    Katrina Disaster-> Rita Freakout -> People think Ike is Hype

    It's really unfortunate. A lot of those people are putting their lives in danger. You also have to put a lot of the blame on the city for not evacuating earlier.
