I agree with him, but he is just so over-reactionary about most things, it's hard not to get that out of him here, even if in this case, as someone who says he's directly lost people that day, it is something he is truly disgusted by. anyway, here's a link to the 9/11 video that aired and Keith's direct response. that one "new angle" of the crash is...well, wow. http://rawstory.com/rawreplay/?p=1837
I do agree. It was harsh, some will say too harsh and it would be hard to argue that it wasn't. When going on about McCain's plan to get Bin Laden being withheld to election what he should've stressed was : "...of course you aren't withholding this info. You don't have it."
didnt watch the video but Keith is a r****d so i refuse to listen to him on whatever he has to say...
Yes, the terrorism montage was in bad taste. Yes, the repubs use terrorists/terrorism as a political tool to win elections. Yes, McCain is full of **** about knowing how to capture bin laden and doing so if he is elected.
Keith has been slipping into insanity recently, I can't really stand him anymore. He's having a rocketanalish meltdown as of late.
But, you listen to rush limbough, Sean hannity, and Michael savage every day why they call people terroist, fascist, socialist, muslism extremist, and anti the Christ probably.
Completely agree with him. 9/11 should remind us how we came together to achieve something greater than we could have as a divided nation. The Republicans have used 9/11 for: 1. Fear mongering to win the 2004 election. 2. Tricking us into believing Iraq was an imminent threat. 3. Dividing our country to the polarizing levels it was at during the 2000 campaign. It is shameful and one of the main reasons I couldn't vote for a single republican during the past few, and at least the next few, elections. McCain and Rudy 9iul1an1 can kiss my ***.
I'll throw a random question: Where's Paula Zahn now? I used to like her. Cable "news" got worse and worse nowadays, on both sides.
Somebody needs to inform this idiot that we had a chance to catch Bin Laden in 2001 but missed our window of opportunity due to an error in judgment. An error in judgment that never would have happened if McCain was President is what he's trying to say. ....and i'm no Giuliani fan but acting like he could have somehow reduced the destruction of 9/11 or anything of the sort is preposterous. 9/11 was a kick between the legs of every American. If you want to throw blame at Giuliani for not relocating his emergency response center you might as well blame the airlines for putting planes in the sky that day.
I agree with him, but it's nothing new. You know who has really hijacked 9-11 is that coin company that keeps issuing some commemorative BS every year that people fall for. They say it's actual currency but what they don't tell you is that it's like in Guam.
He lost all cred when he tried to say "doesn't then count?" as if to say it was solely Bush's fault. I was listening until then. What I would like to hear is the outrage that should be had over the film "The Path to 9/11" being shelved in favor of not casting a negative on Bill Clinton. What? The left is in favor of censorship or withholding evidence the American public needs to see? Why did the film get shelved? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Path_to_9/11 http://abc.go.com/movies/thepathto911/index.html http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0808/12671.html ABC... better yet, Bob Iger of Disney put it in the vault. There's your real 9/11 fiasco, Keith. Grow some and do something more than whine about people remember that the world DID IN FACT change on that day. Censorship... it's a heckuva game changer. WHICH MEANS - Spin away Keithie... it don't matter to America anymore, I guess. For every "TM" moment you cite, other powers try and hide the failures of another administration. Yet Michael Moore can falsify crap on Fahrenheit 9/11 right and left, and no one does squat.
Got back in last night and MSNBC was running the actual broadcast of that day's events as they happened live including the plane hitting the second tower. They replayed that and the collapse of both towers several times. Wonder if there will be a "Special Comment" tonight about that.
