Since 2002, we got our Rockets of Mass Destruction.

    2002 Yao - Intercontinental
    2004 T.Mac - Multiple Warhead
    2005 R.Alston - Cruise
    2006 S.Battier - Patriot
    2007 L.Scola - Sidewinder
    2008 R.Artest - MOP, Massive Ordnance Penetrator

    Let's destroy everything we see!

    I just can't wait.

Scola looks like a goat more than a beast.

Who says goats can't be beasts? Those are some nasty little things, They bite everything you put in front of their mouths.

I completely agree. Goats are beasts and anyone who disagrees with you hasn't been in a confrontation with a goat. They have a lot of hesitation moves, change of direction and speeds which throw you.

I think it is a very good analogy.

Yao should be a Carrier, the biggest and baddest ship out in the naval fleet. Also has smaller ships surround him, kinda like on the courts, lol.

It is a huge pity that Dawson traded our 03's pick. We drafted Yao on 02's draft with the 1st overall pick but we had no pick on 03's draft. I assume our pick for 03 was a high-rounder according to our season status, but I can't remember for whom or what Dawson traded the pick. If you gentlemen know about that, please remind me by posting.
Provided we had a first rounder ranking 10th on 03's draft, then it was still availible for us to pick David West or Josh Howard.Furhter, if we had a 15th pick on 04's draft, we could had selected Al Jefferson or Josh Smith, but our 04's 1st rounder was missing again. The 03 and 04's rookies are generally better than those of other eight years' in the recent decade.
We had a 1st rounder on 05 draft and picked luther head. Then we had an 8th overall pick on 06 and picked Gay who may be the best rookie on the drafts after we picked Yao 02. However, Gay had just weared our cap for one quarter before .being traded to grizzlies. With the sencond round pick we selected Novak that we traded this summer just for a second round consideration.
But all the things changed around on07's draft where we got Landry and brooks whose talent hasn't been fully discovered yet. This year's draft is even more satisfactory than 07's. We picked Batum and traded him for Arthur and Dorsey, then sending Arthur to grizzlies. In exchange we got donte greene whom we traded together with bjax for Ron artest from Kings.Morey used his magic mank to upgrade our team greatly and made our team a real contender in the upcoming season.
In a word, Morey had done a great job since he took the place of Dawson who seemed too old to lead our team any more. I appreciate Morey's efforts for boosting our team. I salute Daryl Moneyball Morey.
