well I already gave you D&B location..

restaurants.. Citronelle is one of those super expensive nice places.

like I said, I like Thaiphoon for Thai food.

Old Glory has some pretty good BBQ in Georgetown... it's weird--turns into a bar on Fri/Sat nights.. interesting.

Old Glory , I will definitely visit. I hope it is at least on par with Pappas.

Still true. :) But there's still a lot of (non-gay) night clubs and restaurants around there.

It's almost an exact replica except the theater there has an Egyptian theme to it.

    My favorite places to eat:

Ben's Chili Bowl (Chili, Hotdogs, etc.) -this place is basically a DC landmark since the 50s. Although it's not in the best part of town.

Five Guys as someone already mentioned, but I hear these are already sprouting up in Texas.

For BBQ there is a pretty good hole-in-the-wall Texas BBQ place right next to the Verizon Center (where the Wizards play) called Capital Q. Old Glory is also pretty good.

For Mexican Food go to Lauriol Plaza in Adams Morgan. The place is like a three story factory turned into a Mexican restaurant and it is crowded and loud on weekends, but they can usually always seat a party of two instantly. Pretty fun place to have dinner if you don't mind the crowds.

If you are staying in the Northern Virginia side it'd probably be closer to go to Potomac Mills. Which is the same thing as the other two.

Ben's Chili Bowl has been a little disappointing of late..

haven't been to Capital Q. Will have to try it out.

Every Mexican place is a disappointment to me in this area after living in TX for so long.. is Lauriol Plaza any different?

Yes. It's the only Mexican place in the area with food comparable to Texas.

If you want nightlife, I recommend Dupont Circle area and the Adams Morgan area. There are some nice clubs and bars in both areas.

I visit family in Arlington every summer so I know the area pretty well. If you want good local seafood (a cajun twang) I always like going to RT's. Its in Alexandria?? I think and is one of the best restaurants I have been to.
