The we may be out of the playoffs, but we can still play for something. As Rockets we have pride. We were proud to watch Clyde to get his championship, and we should remember this pride for every game we lose. We can still win games, we should not tank this season. Let's play for pride. If they loosing on purpose I hate it. It cheats the fans. It cheapens the sport. If my little one was a budding Rocket fan this could make or break his Rocket Spirit. . . . He could call the quitters and sorry. And you cannot explain to a child that HEY!!! we are loosing on purpose so we can get a high lottery pick .!!! OH BY THE WAY . . I honestly don't think tanking has much to do with it. Bottom line is we are not very good. When we play hard we lose, if we were trying to tank we would get blown out. I think there are occassions vs other pathetic teams where it takes extra effort to lose (like last night vs the Cavs when they sat their starters for all oth the 4th quarter and we couldn't make a run, even though we emptied our bench midway thru the 4th as well). However tanking isn't really needed, because we are quite frankly, a very inexperienced, no offense running, no defensive playing team. Hopefully experience will make us a better team in the future. ------------------
