I think Yao will and have to be the MVP in 09.

As everybody know that T-mac and Artest are the big threaten, so they would never have enough people to wrap Yao, then Yao can do his best to score, get the backboard and so on....

For T-mac, I also believe he will have a big progess just like what he did years ago

 

I think it will be yao! !ast season it's Yao take the team on the right way!!!

 

Actually ,man. But I think he is competive for the MUP instead of the MVP. Luther is capable enough to win the 08-09's MUP which means most unvaluable player of the season.

 

I think health will be the MVP.

If the stars can go through the whole season and postseason healthy; that my friends is the teams MVP.

Skip won't start the season healthy. Aaron Brooks will takeover the point guard spot and never give it up and be the second coming over Tony Parker because of Artest, Yao, Mac, they can't pay attention to his lighting quickness and he is shooting the three with confidence like he did in college. Okay I'm dreaming. T-Mac has the edge, but don't discredit Artest coming in and adding toughness and playing just as well on the offensive as the defensive end and get consideration. Yao still doesn't get enough respect to get MVP despite deserving consideration.

 

It must be YAO as long as he is not injured,TRUST ME!
t mac is always let us down. Ron is a X factor , he might be the bomb of the locker room.also he is doing all that hardworking just for a big contract in a great deal.

Yao Ming has been the franchise player of the rockets, but he wasn't the first option on the court for the past four year. You can't say "Tmac has'nt been the first option" with a straight face. Trust me, I tried, people just laugh.

To bash mcgrady for the playoffs is nonsense. this is a guy who averaged 35 points in the game 5 and 6 against the jazz. this is a guy who scored 40 points 10 boards 5 assists in game 6. 28 in the 1st half. this is a guy who took us to fourth seed in the playoffs. when yao went down. he lets us down all the time
