Easy to say that, but people with dogs, children, sick people, etc. aren't too thrilled about being stuck with no electricity and unsafe conditions outside for a few days.

Tell them to cancel all classes from 10 AM forward. I forgot to read for my second class.

I'm in 77008 (Heights) and I'm trying to figure out if I should move from my apartment to a family member's house to ride this out.

TONS of buses at Tully Stadium on Dairy Ashford between Memorial and I-10!!!

They did that for Gustav as well...staging buses there for when they're needed. Pretty impressive looking, actually.

I was just at my stoarge place on 18th and the Valero next door was a trainwreck. People screaming and yelling at each other over the few drops of Premium left there.

    Stay classy Houston. :(

I noticed them on Sunday. If that's for the storm, they were getting prepared early.

Hmmm...I pass by there every day and didn't see them on Sunday. They did this very thing for Gustav...so maybe it was them leaving after that.

I'm in 018 just north of you. I lived in the Whispertree apts during Allison. flooding wasn't much of an issue along 18th, but there wasn't much wind. Make the call soon, the roads will fill up as the day moves on. I'm done with driving and settling in here.

Well I only pass by there on Sunday and I remember noticing there were a lot of busses. Maybe they've added even more since then.
