no, but i'll be at the drive by truckers on the 24th. last time i saw the keys i payed almost $40 and they played for about 50 mins... no thanks.
meridian. also have: widespread panic 10/10 and 10/11 in austin at the backyard ryan adams 10/14 at verizon thievery corp 10/24 at HOB cold war kids 10/25 at warehouse kings of leon 10/28 at verizon (new album is subpar imo) widespread panic 10/30 and 10/31 in new orleans all on the agenda.... busy month.
damn my life of responsibility.... I might take a look at that kings of leon show. any idea who is opening for them?
they are coming on after MGMT...should be a good stage to camp out at on saturday. kind've looks like a weak line-up this year overall (maybe I was just more hyped about the lollapalooza card though)...I had a hard time mapping out a 3 day plan of action, but it's looking like I won't be going now anway so it doesn't even matter.
looks like $25 for the black keys (ya gotta scroll a ways...) http://www.meridianhouston.com/ConcertsEvents/tabid/57/Default.aspx
DBT is $22 advanced and $25 day of. eagles of death metal are also playing at meridian this weekend but with the damn hurricane approaching i wouldn't be surprised if it got canceled.
I really want to see them but I can't believe their tickets are $25. That's ridiculous for a band of that populairty.
Hmmmm. Well they have one of the most critically acclaimed albums out right now by many popular media outlets. I don't thing $25 is unreasonable at all. Are you that cheap?
No, it's just I've been going to shows since I was 12 and this seems like an unreasonable price for that band
i paid close to $40 to see them 2 years ago... they're a lot more popular than you give them credit for.
Thanks for showing us you've been "in the scene" for a long time. Your street cred speaks for itself.
no price is too high for the right entertainment. i have seen the black keys many times, you would definitely get $20 of value.
