Oh come on, red is an important color to many countries including the US. We take pride in RED, white and blue but notice how we always include red first. Also, doesn't China have a yellow star? By the way, roses are not a communist flower.
That's what I thought when I saw this thread - I thought it was a typo in the title. It doesn't do much for me as a slogan. How about "Get Lit"? We are the Rockets after all. They want rowdies anyway.
It's hard to follow up "It's Time." If they were going for something simple, I would've been satisfied with something like "Believe" or even "Beware"
I didn't appreciate this comment. He's not that poor of a contributor to make you red whenever he touches the ball. He's a shooting guard by nature not point guard but he plays the point when asked to do so. Its not his natural position but he does what's asked of him. I just hope Adelman will use his natural talents to maximize his talents.
The Get Red logo isn't saying much, however our roster additions is and that's the real marketing. Marketing slogans cannot take the place of fan excitement and nowadays Rockets' fans are really excited. I've been Red for quite sometime and I hope our local media and residents adopt the Get Red way of life by supporting the 2008-2009 Rockets.
I'm going to guess this was already stated somewhere, but in case it wasn't... We're going to wear our red road uniforms for our 1st home game.
I didn't think they could do worse than "it's time"....but I guess i was wrong. I understand the need to be short and sweet - but geez, using a brand survey to figure out your messaging is just....really bad marketing. It's what you expect from someone with a marketing degree or something. This slogan is just so obviously an appeal to sell merchandise it's not even funny. Get red - buy rockets gear. haha. "Get Rowdie" would have been much better. That's something people actually want to do. of course, the legal department would probably kill it anyway. Oh well, it's time - to get red i guess. Get real.
My cheek always get red when my posts are considered idiotic. I felt a little bit shamed To be honest, I'm not trying to be r****ded and funny,man. I'm not a clown but I frankly want to cheer you up. I hope our forum will not only a forum for the rockets basketball,but a place where you can share anything with other rockets fans .You may talk with us about your damn boss or some other things that are troubling you. We may not be able to help you out, but we can at least offer some suggestions for you, man. And I hope the jokes and funny posts have made you forget your troubles for some time and regain confidence for life. Please keep cool whenever you read the annoying posts by me. get red only when watching the basketball games.
