I agree. I believe that if a woman hits a man or in any way threatens his well being, he should be able to hit her. Of course, I run no risk of ever getting hit, because I'm not dumb enough or rude enough to hit someone seriously.

So I think the guy's reaction was warranted. She slapped the sh** out of him, so he slapped the sh** out of her. Fair game. It's not like he pummeled her face or anything.
