I can't wait...this, californication and It's always sunny in philidelphia are what I"m waiting for...
it's that time of the year, to reconnect the HBO for Entourage and Curb. I'm hoping for a better season than last year , though. hopefully they will pull out all the punches.
i need a recap of how season 4 ended... it ended with their movie being release at cannes and totally sucking correct?
From Wiki: In the season finale, the entourage travel to Cannes to promote Medellin and sign a distribution deal. When the film bombs with the Cannes audience though, they are forced to accept producer Harvey Weingard's deal of one dollar for the movie (who they earlier rebuffed). I also remember Drama getting laid on the beach.
One review I read said this show is stuck in a rut. This season is more of the same...Drama being Drama, Artie yelling and screaming. They said the show needs new blood. I can understand that to some point. The show seemed to drag a lot last year.
There's not a lot of ways a plot line of aimless hedonism and LA narcissism can go. It's a seductive lifestyle but once you get the vicarious vibe it can get a little boring. Entertainment needs conflict.
Darn good ep to start the season. Nothing earth shattering but a little bit of everything for all the characters. Looking like another great season with the Boys!
Yeah, I think it would be better if episodes were an hour long. I like the flow and everything but they really don't progress all that much in 30 minutes. I think if they were an hour long then that would fix a lot.
not bad. i like how hbo shows continue in real time... while they did pretty much start where they left off, life in the show still progressed.
I thought the premiere was good. It could use a little shake-up, but still entertaining as always. Aquaman back!
