Oh well, I guess i'm classless. Is his career in jeopardy? His life-aka stingley-Tatum?? Yeah, somehow I don't think so. I like the guy but I've got no probs celebating the injury. Hopefully he gets better and comes back next season but till then I'm gonna enjoy it and hope the patsies tank the rest of the season.
Stability wise, if you just tear a knee ligament (a MCL, ACL, PCL, LCL or meniscus) you can walk off the field, and depending on how bad the tear is, you can walk off fairly well. It is the pain that gets to some people. They stabilize the knee and prevent you from bending too much in a particular direction, so as long as you don't try to run to make a sudden shift of weight with that leg or to that leg, you can walk. Now if you tear two, its much harder to maintain stability of the knee, though I have seen a few people do it. I would imagine that if you were to tear the associated ligaments (ACL with PCL or MCL with LCL) you would not have the stability to walk on your foot, but I've never heard of anyone tearing just those pairs unless they also tore a third one, and then u have a Shaun Livingston injury. Now this is just ligaments. Tendon's a completely different story.
I am looking in my fantasy league and offering Carson Palmer to whoever has Brady. Palmer made me sick to my stomach today. GAVE ME ONLY 3 DAMN POINTS!
Are you kidding me? The best player in football goes down in week 1 against the fricken Chiefs? Unbelievable.
While I don't like the team or the coach, I hate to see ANYBODY get injured. After all, it is just a game.
I am sure he is hurt but I think they may exagerate the severity . . so that when he comes back in three weeks. .they will surprise whatever team that is Bela-cheat will do anything to get an edge Rocket River
What possible edge can he get out of this in week 1? he would be leaking it himself anyway, he's trying to keep it under wraps but somebody squaked and told the media.
That's a paradoxical statement if I've ever heard one, that's disgusting. No one should ever celebrate an injury....
Here is a link with video of the play and a story saying ACL: Brady Injury <hr> How can he surprise another team? Don't injury reports have to be filed on a weekly basis? He isn't a reserve offensive lineman, but a high profile quarterback that will have the media doing some intense snooping.
