a sing & trade? Wow, so theres this new thing in the NBA CBA where you first sing and then trade? Update me on this bro...I not hear of sing & trade but it sounds great lets get the Town Piper in right now...it'll make Buford trade Manu for Marbury
In every sentence in your post, you alway put a space BEFORE a comma or a period. You are so consistent on this writing habit that I start doubting myself because English is not my native language.
This is the guy that tried to tear me a new one because I said the Rockets have a bad ass team. He took the "bad" in "bad ass" literally.
I wonder if this guy thought adding random pics of Manu Ginobli to the beginning of his thread would make it worthwhile to read?
What is ridiculous is your inability to understand the impact that a player like Ron Artest will make on this team and how it will help us. On the offensive end, teams that use to leave Battier will now be stuck trying to guard Artest and therefore will make Tmac's and Yao's job easier. Let me give you something to think about before you call my Big three predictions ridiculous. Our Biggest three from last year stats: Player G GS MPG FG% 3p% FT% OFF DEF TOT APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG Yao Ming 55 55 37.2 .507 .000 .850 3.10 7.70 10.80 2.3 .45 2.02 3.33 3.10 22.0 Tracy McGrady 66 62 37.0 .419 .292 .684 .60 4.50 5.10 5.9 1.03 .45 2.42 1.40 21.6 Rafer Alston 74 74 34.1 .394 .351 .715 .40 3.10 3.50 5.3 1.32 .24 2.16 1.90 13.1 So that's Yao for 22, same as I have...Tmac for 21.6 which is 2.4 points less than I have given him because I think his job will be easier with Artest over Battier..and Artest with 18 instead of Rafer with 13...but you think this is ridiculous? Let me get this straight..you think it is ridiculous that Tmac can score 2.4 more points this year and that Ron Artest can score 5 more points per game than Rafer Alston did last year? I think it is clear upon analysis what might be ridiculous my friend.
is that the young master, or the old master, or the venerable master of the english langauge? i am pretty certain from your post knocking on people's english skills that english is not your first language as well.
All in all I just don't think rockets will average over 95 points a game with great defense and Yao running the offense.(look at celtics), let alone 89 points for starters... what about scola, barry, shane? No offense I respect your opinion.
Um...what? Not to derail the thread, but I don't think this belongs in the GARM? That and I can barely understand Einstain's posts at all. Reminiscent of agentzero? -shrugs-
LOL Why would someone correct a typo in a forum. Is this usually a response when you don't have an actual reply to the debate on hand? Oh and check this out! While he corrects someone on a typo he either has a typo or just bad grammar as well. /sigh What the hell? Did you mean I haven't heard? Come on man, you make fun of "English is my 2nd language" guy but yet you make mistakes as well. We are all humans, its our nature. So stop acting like your better then someone because you appear to yourself to be smarter then an individual.
Dude, I'm happy you have a man crush on Manu, believe me I am. I'm also happy you started your first thread, thats always a plus too, but, you have got to be smoking crack if you wanna send the best defender in the league to one of the best defenses in the league. Short of getting Tim Duncan, there is no way you can validate that. Plus, Manu stuffs his shorts. I had to say it, sorry.
Try to be at least a little rational. Do you really think SA would do something to "keep the cup" in the western conference? Please, it's survival of the fittest. They want the rings for themselves!! BTW here's your answer to the idea that they wanted to "help us keep the cup in the conference" Taken from MySASports: The Spurs had hoped to trade Scola outside their division and were close to sending him to Cleveland, but a three-team deal that would have sent Butler to Sacramento fell apart. A potential trade to send Butler to New Jersey also didn't materialize, so the Spurs decided to package Scola with him. Unless they go into full rebuild mode there is no way your trade makes any sense. Battier and Head? Really? Are you sure you aren't "Agentzero"
I wanna see Manu at the top of his game during the playoffs. I want to see the best talent go head to head. Unfornately, it doesn't always happen that way (think Yao) last year. How different could things have done had he played? Anyone who hopes for any player on an opposing team to be injured and not see the very best basketball is a disgrace in my eyes.
Man, you honestly think this is Manu's worth? Spurs are not near desperate yet. When their rebuilding phase come, they'll keep Manu (and Parker) just for the sake of guidance.
