Please help me make a killer mix CD. I don't care about the genre, the artist, the sexual orientation of the lead singer. I could care less if the song is a pop smash or an obscure college radio staple. Give me funk, punk, classical, ska, salsa, indie, progressive, classic, death metal, or hip hop. It really doesn't matter -- as long as it's a song that has truly blown your mind for it's sheer genius and tenacity to rummage into your soul to build a lovely fire each time you give it a spin. The only semblance of order that I will stipulate is that you please refrain from suggesting joke songs ala Weird Al or anything from the Styx discography. Or just stupid songs universally regarded as trash such as Aqua's 90's (?) hit "Barbie Girl". *Shudder* If this thread mutates any legs, I'll post my final mix CD out of all the suggestions contained here within. If your recommended song is chosen then you can lean back in your computer chair and stroke your chin and bask in your good taste. Anyway, please --- I'm starving for tunes!
..And I posted this in the wrong forum. Damn! Please move this to the hangout ASAP while I still have some semblance of dignity.
