Name some obscure 80's movies that you watched all the time. I'll start the list. Howard the Duck The Heavenly Kid The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking Big Trouble in Little China Can't Buy Me Love Just to name a few...

I guess I watched to many movies in the 80's because none of those are obscure to me. Midnight Madness, however, what a great movie with the big screen debut of Micheal Fox. Easter Bunny Parade...
damn....i can on here to post Midnight Madness. 2 mentions in the first 8 posts already? i'm impressed. Fagabeefy?
First one I thought of and...it was on Showtime last night! With the possible exception of her portrayal of Bobbi Fleckman (the hostess with the mostest!) in "This is Spinal Tap", Fran Drescher's best work. And Robert Wuhl was actually funny. The "Last American Virgin" was also stellar. "Hard Bodies" "Up the Academy" "Foxes" "Over the Edge" (Well, it came out in '79, but close enough as it was in regular rotation in the early '80's on HBO) And if you we're in Intermediate or High school in the '80's (at least in KISD)you were treated to multiple showings of the classic ABC After School Special "Desperate Lives" starring a young Helen Hunt dropping chemlab acid and jumping out a second story window! And while it's certainly not obscure, "Urban Cowboy" is one of, if not THE, greatest '80's movie ever.
Fright Night, Starring Miley Cyrus - will be on HDNet this Saturday night. I used to watch it on HBO all the time when we stole cable. "Brewster?!?!?!?! " "Help... me... help... meeee...? BLARGHHH!!!!! " 3 O'Clock High. "You. Touched. Me. " Just One Of The Guys - "If I were a guy... would I have these? [POP!]." "Are those... what I think they are ?"
Holy crap, someone mentioned Over The Edge. This is one of my all time favorite movies. Awesome soundtrack as well (Cheap Trick, The Cars, Van Halen). Greatest teen rebellion movie EVER. "Eat it, you stinkin' pig!!"
The Last American Virgin DC Cab Dr. Detroit Jekyll and Hyde... Together Again Bachelor Party Summer Lovers Time Bandits
^^^ Yeah... that is such an OBSCURE movie... even more so 'cuz it has Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie...
