HORSE would be far, far, far more entertaining than any of the current All-star events. Particularly if high-profile stars participated.

Hey what the ***** is your problem? Don't criticize everything you find in this forum and who told you it meant something? If's fun to know, that's all.

If someone dunked anything other than a tomahawk, they could beat lebron in h-o-r-s-e.

I almost beat Jason Kapono at HORSE once. I had the dude on the ropes, too. ... And then he started busting out the dunks on me. Yeah, that's fair.

what was all that just jump and catch the ball and shoot it in the air from 2 feet away after running around crap? that ain't real horse. a shot should either leave your hand once and then do whatever you want it to do, or if you are touching it multiple times it should be part of a continuous thing (like throw it off the backboard and catch it and shoot or something).

lebron must've been throwing the game if he couldn't make the "throw it over the backboard, catch it, throw it back over, catch it and shoot" shot or the one where he threw it off the backboard and just caught it and laid it in. he could've dunked those in his sleep. although that guy did somehow make the behind the back layup to match.

i think it would be a hyped event...until it started. then there would be lots of set up and tons of missed shots with guys trying really hard crap. you'd have to convince everyone not to pull a "it's time for the birdman to fly" and miss 14 shots in a row and to actually try things they've practiced and can do. but then the shots might not be as fun.

I'm still waiting for the first person to say "Hey, Morey, sign the warehouse worker, we need shooting". :D

ORLY? I think I'd rather someone stick hot pokers in my eye than watch a bunch of NBAers try and make a bunch of creative trick shots. Until the past year or two, it's been painful enough watching them try to do creative dunks.

As long as they keep only really good dunkers in the dunk contest then it is really entertaining. The 3 pt contest is fine, its just the other crap that sucks. I think HORSE would be a fun addition.

I'd be happy with something like HORSE if it was pulled out every couple of years, and it wasn't 4 rounds of HORSE filled with a bunch of players I don't care about, but rather just 1 or 2 rounds between a very very select few players.

Maybe I'm thinking too much of the McDonald's commercial between Jordan and Bird.

I am surprised Lebron didn't pull out some dunks to destroy this guy. It was trick shot competition not a one on one game so I am not shocked Lebron lost. I bet the white dude can't do any of these dunks:
