My Business Statistics class was given a random numbers table. Our professor told us to take the table and get 30 random, two-digit numbers using the number column 21 and row 20. That number is 0967. How do you generate these numbers from this one number? I would look it up in the book but several of us in class are waiting for books to come into the bookstores and all the professor provided us was the number table to work with and no material. Any assistance is appreciated.

Any assistance is appreciated"" --You don't generate anything from 0967, he gave you the starting point, then you can either go across or downward (i think the prof meant downward since thats how i did it in my stats class) then continually choose 30 numbers. for example: the table looks as follows: 1578 4568 4587 7898 9854 5678 4589 7789 1578 7888 7788 7788 lets say the first block is your starting point (1578) going across: 15, 78, 45, 68, ... and continue going across goint downward: 15, 98, 15, ... and continue going downward until you get 30 numbers. fairly simple, hope this helps.
There is a software program you have to download somewhere. I forgot what its called. You have to download it though.

i thought you graduated? you should post more info because I have taken several stat and prob theory classes and dunno WTF you are talking about.
