I was just watching "Live Free or Die Hard" on cable, and was shocked to see Kevin Smith playing a regular role. Looks like he gained quite a few pounds.

I feel the same way about Kevin Smith as many of you do about Will Ferrell. I keep giving his movies a chance but haven't found a really good one yet.

    Here's a NSFW (language) trailer:

    Rookie :D

I can recite all of his movies except Jersey Girl and Dogma

I for one liked Jersey Girl, kinda cool of the Sweeny Todd reference before the movie came out

Looks good, looking forward to Justin Long's role, looks freaking hilarious.

Suprised there wasn't one reference that it was a Kevin Smith film, my guess why? Probably they want people to think its another Apatow movie

Big Kevin Smith fan here, too. I look forward to this more for Smith than Rogen, this could be a very good team-up in any case.

BTW, anyone listen to his podcast? It's called Smodcast and it's w/ Scott Mosier (aka Snowball in Clerks, among other roles) and guests. It's basically random talk between guys hanging out, in typical Kevin Smith banter. They have some hilarious moments.

About what? Anyway, I looked him up on IMDB......he was the bouncer--he was also in a bunch of other movies and tv shows (that I obviously haven't seen). He only had about a minute long role in knocked up.........but he obviously left an impression on me.

I pretty much like Smodcast more than an actual Kevin Smith movie at this point. Not that I don't like his movies anymore but smodcast distills the best part of his movies (guys just hanging out, shooting the breeze and having funny conversations) into a weekly show.

My favorites are when Kevin is joined by his old buddies from when he was growing up, like Walter and Bryan and they reminisce about old times.
