Don't blame McCain, it was only his third choice. Like a good POW, he followed the commands of his captors.

I've seen barack lecture in person while I was in law school.

He's excellent in a small (100 or so) roomful of people because nobody in the room is looking for soundbites. He's extraordinarily intelligent and comes off that way, that's why he can go on to talk shows and charms people to death. There's a reason why he draws rockstar crowds that Palin/McCain could only get at a right-wing evangelical revival.

If you are honestly betting as to which one is more intelligent - don't make me laugh. Do you have any clue how hard it is to become HLR editor? I am far smarter than you and I knew I couldn't even get in to HLS, let alone become EIC of HLR - on raw brainpower he beats the pants off of McCain (graduated 747 out of 750 at Annapolis or something) and Paleo-con (does she have an associates degree?)

Now you will say "damn son you are elitist!" It's not elitist - it's called reality. It's not elitist to state that a fine wine is superior to a box of Franzia. It's just true.

PS where is the bet thread? You have polluted this forum with so many Palin defense spin control threads I can't find it.

Michael Steele I missed him- I guess the Republicans decided he was not ready for prime time this year? This has by far been the WHITEST-ASS CONVENTION EVER. THey're not even trying. Have they just given up when going up against Obama?

You just blamed Hillary and Michael Steele losing on Democratic sexism and racism. Are you one of those who continually bash people who blame issues on racism and sexism, like most other Republicans/conservatives?

130 times he couldn't make up his mind... he couldn't decide between "yes" or "no" ...it was too tough!

    He voted "present."

I didn't have the option of "present" when I was mayor...

    PRICELESS!
