    I have a Doberman, I can tell you they are wonderful dogs.

    I wouldn't reccommend one though if you have any other dogs/animals. My dobe is very territorial. He's pretty good around most humans, but mauls any animal that comes near him.

    Have you ever thought of getting a security camera system from your home? They are the best deterrent to burglary, sometimes even better than an alarm system. I have a system and I can monitor whoever is outside of my house as well as view my home via internet.
