    That's kind of an unfair way of looking at it. Coaching a basketball team for a couple of summers, doesn't compare to coaches like say michael phelp's one who has coached him since he was a kid. The coaches of the other athletes put in far more time and energy then a basketball coach.

    Aren't they usually paid by the athlete to be their coach?

    On top of that, an athlete's coach has no "official" role at the olympics, unlike the coach of the basketball team.

    The gold medal is made from silver and covered by gold. The material cost of Beijing Olympic gold medal is about ~$300 each and it is the most expensive Olympic gold medal so far.

    her husband has a casino empire from vegas to macau and owns many million dollar picasso paintings. they are billionaires, someone probably lost $300 at the tables in about 5 minutes.

    You are still wrong. Yes one hand would last about 3 minutes already. But those people are billionaires. they would lose $200,000 in one hand which is like $300 per 5 milliseconds. :cool:
