Everytime I've seen an article written on him, they state he's 23 right now. But when I do my own math, I keep coming up with 22. What's the deal? February 21, 1978 = 22 years old? I thought so too. ------------------
When Steve played at Allegany College, I am almost positive he was 21. That was two years ago, so it would make him 23. But is it possible that everyone has his birthday wrong? ------------------
According to nba.com, his birthday is 2/21/78. That would make him 22. ------------------ <this space for rent>
Thank God he's only 22, 'cuz if he was 23 we could kiss our future goodbye. We already have Cuttino, who's practically on his last leg at 25, so I'd hate to have another cornerstone of our franchise be close to his mid-twenties. ------------------
I was going to post the exact same thing today. Unless NBA.com has his birth date listed wrong, it seems columnists can't even do some simple math. ------------------
I doubt it was a one time mistake because the Chronicle has been reporting him a year older than his listed Bday since he came to the Rocks. Also, National Publications have followed the same route. I know it's not a real big deal, but it just got me thinking. ------------------
Hey you guys! I know I haven't posted in a while, but I'm still around. But, to answer the question, Steve is 23. ------------------
lol are we going to have to ask steve when his birthday is. i was looking at some cards the other day and ran across some jose cruz cards and a few had differnt dates for his birthday. at least these people can get birthdays right. this could be a major problem i mean in 5 years when his contract is up he may be 27 instead of 26 thats a huge differnce you know ------------------ Shane "Save Our Rockets" "Life without basketball in Houston........without an arena that is what it will be"
