This little boy born in Bengladesh just died. I was thinking how cool would if be if he could live to adulthood and got to go to school? So each head only needs to study half the material for an exam. It would be technically cheating, since two brains are doing an exam, but it's no cheating because it's only one body. Pretty cool.
DHAKA (AFP) – A baby boy born with two heads in southwestern Bangladesh died after his parents decided to take him home because they could not afford adequate medical care, a doctor said Thursday. The boy, named Kiron, was born Monday by Cesarean section and died at home late Wednesday after developing a fever and breathing difficulties, paediatrician KS Alam told AFP. Kiron had attracted such attention that 150,000 people gathered at the clinic where he was cared for after his birth in Keshobpur, 135 kilometres (85 miles) from the capital Dhaka. Police were called in to control the crowds and Kiron was transferred to a hospital in nearby Jessore city. But his parents decided, against doctors' advice, to take him home, Alam said. "We wanted to refer him to a hospital in Dhaka but the family was so poor that they could not afford to take him there, so they took him home where he died," Alam said. "It was a very unusual case. The boy had one body but two complete heads." He weighed 5.5 kilogrammes (12 pounds 1 ounce) at birth.
I just always wonder why do hospitals never give free surgeries to save lives like these. I mean, the families of children who are born with unnatural defects almost always have to search high and low and scrounge tons of money for a surgery for their kids. Is there nobody who would be willing to do an operation for them without having to be paid?
I saw these girls on discovery channel or something....... they were in high school and saying 'we are just like every other teenager, were really normal' YEA! except for the fact you have TWO HEADS!
I remember seeing that too. It even had guys flirting with it, and what I can't help but think is that those guys were just trying to either get on camera or to look "sweet" to the other girls in their school. I honestly felt sorry for it.
