Is Liverpool about to get bounced in the qualifying round?

Edit: Kyut knocks in a Babel cross and Liverpool are through.

Arsenal advance over FC Twente, coached by the Wally with the Brolly, 6-0 on aggregate.

Liverpool got lucky. Standard were the better team but didn't get the goal.

Liege certainly had their chances. Kuyt saved their butts tonight.

Liverpool has been really lucky so far in both the premiership and in champions league. They better shape up offensively, or they're in for an ugly season. Hopefully with Babel and Mascherano in the lineup now, they'll move the ball better.

I'm happy with Man United's draw. We don't have to make any long trips, and Villareal is the only team in the group I think can really push us. I don't envy Arsenal or Liverpool's draw, Arsenal has a couple of long trips to Kiev and Fenerbache, while all four teams in Group D are solid. Groups H is the "Group of Death." Group F should be fun to watch as well.

Yeah, those long trips are going to suck for Arsenal.
