Justice is a troll. First rule about trolls is not to feed them. It's wishful thinking on my part but I wish his blog were banned from this site. Oh, and there's nothing alleged about what OJ did, but I don't want to pull a Justice by pushing the issue. Pulling a Justice; yes, that's a good way of describing all future troll post on the board.
is feigan the only person that isnt an ass at the chronicle, i mean theres feigan and old girl that be looking hot anna megan or something to that effect, the rest are morons
What do you expect from Justice? The guy is a good writer, but he is the biggest overreactor and notorious flip flopper in sports journalism. Trust me...he will write an article or blog praising the signing within 4 weeks of the regular season
Truly speaking, this whole subject of character, professional sports, role models, etc., could easily take up BOOKS, much less blog commentaries and bbs threads... as a matter of fact it has. What a tar-baby subject. For a sampling... http://www.squidoo.com/badbehavior
I wanna see Justice talk Sh** when we get out of first round! he'll be doing Artest (the bad boy) if nothing more!
If that is the standard by which we judge people these days then Justice deserves a slap in the face for all the times he has flip-flopped his way through the pathetic career he calls sports journalism. I remember the venom he spat on the Astros before they made that miracle comeback from the grave push to the playoffs. Justice is a tool with no real sense of prospective or methodology to make sports analysis. He rides the bandwagon and jumps off at the first sign of trouble. This clown deserves neither the attention nor the recognition from Houston sports fans.
Maybe he forgot a strong point: We where to smooth and soft, we needed toughness and strength. Thats why we drafted Dorsey and traded for Artest. We needed a "scary/impressive" guy who could lock down and player and create his own shot. We got that in the Tru Warier.
Artest fought with fans because they actually threw stuff at him that could have hurt him seriously if it was something heavy. To me it was more about jeopardising his own well being going into the crowd. This is not even close to allegations of murder or even beating up someone in a bar. Anyways, Justice made the same points what like 20 times already??? Why does he feel the need to keep harping on the same point?? Someone please tell him no one cares.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but has Artest even been *charged* with anything beyond the fan-punching stuff in Detroit? I'm not excusing bad behavior, but it seems to me that if his family is okay with him right now, and if Peta is fine with him, maybe Richie should stop acting so offended on their behalf.
is he bored? whats the point of writing this? we've heard it before. it's like he wrote this to piss people off
It is a good article that brings up some good points. Artest is a definite wild card with questionable character. For anyone here to act like that isn't the case is living in a fantasy world. I think the only issue is that Richard Justice can write something like this, and then next week write that Artest deserves a fresh start and clean slate. He flip flops on a daily basis. That is the thing that I really don't like about him.
Yep..also continuously repeats this same tirade on the radio when the topic of Artest is brought up in his presence.
Geez... why do we have to suffer from The Chronicle?? Their sports coverage, especially the NBA, SUX!!! (Feigen is all right, but he's pretty deep in the Rockets pocket)
