I met Ron Artest! I was at the Toyota Center for an interview and on my way back to the Tundra Parking Lot I met Ron Artest. Damn that dude is huge. I basically let him know that I was glad to have him here and that he was just what we needed and that he would take us to the 'ship!
y'all need to represent and show him the power of clutchfans... any word if it will be like the tmac press conference from a couple of years ago? i thought that was pretty cool for the rockets to do something like that.
610 has Jim Rome on, and yeah 1560 is talkling about texans.. Usually 610 should cover and steam something like this press conference, since they are the official broadcast team of the rockets, but Jim Rome's show does not end it until 2pm, and there is no official word on their website unlike 2 years go Tmac's.
Like he said... some crappy guy screaming sarcasm. I hope one of them covers it. I'd like to see/hear what is said. More likely, if it's streamed anywhere would be on Rockets.com. But I see no updates there about it.
Not sure if this has already been posted. This morning on 1560 they said they had "No Layups" t-shirts on sale at nolayups.com. Anybody check them out? Looks like Kirilenko getting smacked around…haha
I hope someone would be nice enough to post a video of the whoel press conference, since there is no live TV or radio stream it.
