i know he is old and just probably trying to have fun on the court but hes making 15 mil a year and doesn't even look like he cares. it is probably just me but has anyone else noticed that he looks like he almost thinks it is funny when he makes a bad play?

I'm just mad cause it seems to me like dream doens't relize how bad he is. he thinks he is still good. i dunno i still like him but lost a lot of respect for him every since the time i met him and he was plain out rude and went on and on about how his autograph was worth too much so he could't sign and basically yelled at some little kid about not signing autographs. the kid was like 4

I have said many times that I think that is the main problem. Dream simply is satisfied with his career. It is sad really.

Dream is not bad you know. I haven't seen that many centers in this league that can make a damn fadeway consistently. I'm sure that Dream does care, but not nearly as much as he did before. HOw can you expect him to care like he did before?

James Edwards had a fadeaway that was money... come to think of it, he still had something in the tank in his late 30s...

    Rocket Fan,
When did you meet Hakeem? Because I have met him 5 times and every single time I meet him, he shakes my hand and even talks to me and the rest of those trying to catch a glimpse of the Dream. He is the nicest famous person I have ever met. I can't believe the story you give after meeting him myself.

I'm not gonna say you made that story up or anything, but I have to agree with Rakeem. I've met Hakeem many times and you couldn't find a nicer guy. His Bball skills may have diminished, but don't go mixing that up with his off-court etiquette.

cabbage...roketeemm.....i'm far from making the story up. maybe it was because it was after practice or something but i've met him on several occasions and he was pretty much rude and complained about people selling his autograph and once there were 5 people there so he said thats way to many autographs to sign. he seems nice and everything and i understand what yall are saying i'm just saying in my own personal experiences with him not on camera and with no one else around he has been kind of rude to me. it could have just been bad days ive caught him on just saying what happened when i persoanlly met him. so please don't think i'm making this up it's just the personal experience i've had with him

Although I have met him outside the arena and he was cordial to me, I believe you. I have witnessed plenty of professional (and I use that term loosely) act like spoiled little brats.

I've heard stories about Hakeem too but everyone is entitled to be a jerk once in a while.

It has to be tough for athletes because everyone always want a piece of them.
That being said, Hakeem is making 15 million and he looks like crap out there. He needs to get it together because his reputation is being tarnished despite all that he has accomplished in Houston. Don't forget, he still has another year to play. Pray for a miracle.

Yes, he may have just been having a bad day the few times i met him that being said he is certainly not the nicest person in the nba and does worry an awefully lot about people selling his autograph. i guess i was just spoiled and can't expect everyone to act as nice as sam mack, clyde drexler and eddie johnson always did? or should i be able to expect people who are making millions off the fans to treat the fans with the respect clyde always did/? anyways just wanted to make it clear that i wasn't making the story up. dr j is a nice guy too and i'm sure dream is. he is nice just doens't like the idea of people possibly selling his autograph even though i'm only 16 and wouldnt' do that

i was just trying to make the point that outside away from cameras like after practice or something dream isn't always as nice as he is when he knows there are cameras etc around.
