No, rock8ts is clearly saying he wanted Barack to choose John McCain as a running mate, making everyone's head explode.

Now that I've typed a bad joke, the country could really use something radical like that. The two make a joint appearance and pledge to be one another's running mates. So, the country chooses a president, with the silver medalist becoming VP.

 

That would be kind of cool.

Can someone explain to me why the country moved away from that after the Adams/Jefferson presidency?

 

I won't explain it, but I think it's a cool question.
