WTH? There's not a person on this board who said that. I would know.

    I swear.

Luis is fun to watch. He's a guy that works his tail off for every minute he's on the court. He single-handedly kept Argentina in that game today. He worked to get the starting job over Chuck because he learned to play the NBA style. Before he was coming off the bench because he was a rook. A talented and experienced rook, but a rook none-the-less. It took him the first half of the season to keep from giving cheap fouls on screens and traveling with the ball etc.

No one said that Chuck should get his minutes. Yeesh.

Luis not only showed skill and heart but a real toughness which was absolutely thrilling. I would love to see more aggression from him when he rejoins the Rockets.
    GO LUIS! GO ROCKETS!

Proud of Scola, he did his thing today. Only reason I watched the game to see how he would do.

Do you know when i posted that ? It was when Scola went for an up-and-under kind of move across the baseline, but he missed.

In no way at all was i knocking him off from the game :S

Unless im misunderstanding your post lol.

If you watch the feed on the nbc olympics site you are treated to watching the game without commentator babble. I would pay extra money to be able to toggle commentators on and off like a dvd. Without the on air commentary you feel a part of the atmostphere.

Its worth it just to hear the trash talk from Bosh and Kobe

Absolutely, while Gasol and Odom are soft, Scola is tough.
I am pround of this guy, who fights till the last minute.
    Go Scola! Go Rockets!

I think a game like this has got to have Adelman thinking about putting together Luis featured plays.

Luis destroyed bosh. there is no other wat to put it. luis was the best player on the court. what excites me is how much he's improved since the jazz series.

A he looks like he has improved he's finishing around the rim. he's not missing those gimmies anymore. last season luis would miss the easiest layups that would frustrate the hell out of you.

B i thought he's become alot better at putting the ball on the floor. he's ball skills were not great. now he seems like he has worked on that.

C he looks like he has become a better shot blockert or at the very least he has become better at altering shots.

This all bodes well for us. i believe with scola, we may now have a big four. i had him as a top twenty PF, but i think after the thirty seven on AK and the ass kicking he handed to bosh and the team usa frontcourt, he could be a borderline top ten.

Man, I was so pleased with Scola.

He looked likely to score every time he got the ball on the block, and he was backing b****es down like he was Barkley.

Mid range J was clicking most of the game aswell - it looks sweet when he's on.

Bring that A game to the Rockets please Mr Scola.

Where are those jerks who started calling him 'Scrubola' during last season??

Not to take anything from Luis' game but how pathetic is it that the supposed best players in the NBA got eaten alive by Scola. Dwight Howard should forever lose the privilege of ever being mentioned in the same sentence as the word "defense." I nearly fell out of my chair when the announcers said that Carmelo had to be put on Scola because Luis was too "crafty" for Dwight.

Scola's an absolute STUD. I can't wait for the season. I bet the Spurs fans who watched the game enjoyed it the most, Manu aggravating his ankle injury and Scola going off. :D

IIRC, Chris Bosh can't handle him too when Scola posted him up.
