We are so lucky to have him, he is comfortable as the go to guy, and as the role player.

Just a smart smart tough player.....

Word. I assumed he promised to play for USA, but had secretly agreed to play for Spain upon his arrival in China. Such is the way of the Alaskan ThunderSchmuck.

This ref is blowing my mind. FOUR free throws and the ball goes to the americans? wtf? this guy's been trying to do the argentines in from the start of 3rd quarter. he's single-handedly destroying what was a competitive and fun basketball game.

if we don't get him 10-11 shots next yr AT LEAST, i'll be freaking livid. i guess he's more comfortable playing with argentina still but seeing him score with ease v. this kind of competition makes me believe he can be such a dominant force for us.

though i'm cheering for scola, why are you mad? we all want US to win (but they kinda let up after manu went out which is highly disappointing). should have been a 30 pt beatdown.

On Team USA the bigmen don't really post up much, just play good defense, block shots, etc. So know we all now why Boozer isn't playing much...

Absolutely, he should get even more looks because teams will have to focus so much on Artest, Tmac and Yao.....

I'm being Objective when when I say this.

The Rockets are better than the Lakers, and their softees Pau and Odom.

Scola will be better than he was last year.

well that's not a big stretch to say. i truly believe we're MUCH better than any team out in the west, with the celtics our biggest challenge b/c of their formidable defense.

the lakers do have arguably the best player in the world (though i do believe it's lebron). but their 2nd/3rd best players are SOFT that wilt at the sight of toughness. and more importantly, they lack tough defense. artest/scola/landry/alston would own them with tmac and yao occupying all the attention.

hornets, spurs, jazz aren't even my concerns right now.

scola 15/9 next yr at least -> MIP award.

Awesome game by Scola. Actually nice overall Olympic run by Scola. I love watching him move without the ball!

anyone else see Kobe tell Scola "you are the man"?? He dominated anyone who guarded him. Kobe is a class act though while Melo is a b&*atch
