Good luck to y'all searching for employment. I know the market is really rough right now but I'm sure you'll find something.
Sorry to hijack your thread Genuine. Hey, is any one here in the mortgage industry and do you have an opening for a loan officer?
Jackson Hicks Catering Company is hiring. You'd basically be a waiter. You gotta go through about 2 sessions worth of training and take like a 6-8 hour TABC certification course. Then you start work a few days later. All told, you'd have your first day of work in about 1.5 weeks or so. If you're interested, email me at outlook@swbell.net for the referral name/email of the HR manager.
Getting a job straight into trading is quite difficult these days. The only folks who get in are top 20 MBA programs. If you are not this, you will have to work your way up from research or just have connections. I'm in commodities trading now, but I had to spend some mind numbingly boring years in research. This was despite having good connections, that got me in the door in the first place.
