So does this mean they now realise the Kidd trade was a mistake? http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3544586
That Kidd trade was so irrelevant I almost forgot how George nearly sabotaged the whole deal altogether and cost Cuban $11M extra. Nice!
George always reminded me of a poor man's Bonzi and he still does since they both got progressively worse.
I think they have been realizing it was the wrong move. I read somewhere today that there are rumours of Dallas not extending his contract. it's sick that he's making 19.7 million this year. he's getting paid more than Kobe! 1) Kevin Garnett $22,000,000 2) Shaquille O'Neal $20,000,000 3tie) Jermaine O'Neal $19,728,000 3tie) Jason Kidd $19,728,000 5) Kobe Bryant $19,490,625 6tie) Allen Iverson $19,195,312 6tie) Stephon Marbury $19,195,312 8) Tim Duncan $19,014,188 9) Tracy McGrady $19,014,187
I actually don't think the Mavs will make the playoffs this year. Its going to be fun watching them fall apart.
How the mighty have fallen. And so quick before our eyes. Glad to be a Rockets fan. Dallas-Mavs.com has a motto at their forum. It's "we like our team". They basically have the same team as last year with zero upgrades. i expect the Mavs to win, at best, two games against the Rockets.
Well, just think, we get to fall asleep 25 times next season watching this boring team on national TV. I hope some of these games get switched out.
Oh they will I'm sure. By the All-Star break, the Mavs on ABC and all will start dropping. I expect the Rockets to fill their place if we're playing good teams.
