As many of you may know, I tend to get pissed off at a lot of things...commercials and kids hanging out at the Randalls parking lot to name a couple.

Another one just came to me. That little prick announcer on ESPN Sportscenter who always yells, "...SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!!! " during the highlight of a monster jam or when someone cranks a homer out of the yard. And I thought Stuart Scott was lame.

    SHUT UP!

    Bring back Kilborn.

Ok...now I'm REALLY pissed at ESPN. They didn't even show Rockets/Jazz highlights on Sportscenter. All they did was show the score and stats!!!

    Damn you to hell, ESPN!!

Yeah, seriously. The morning after the Rockets-Raptors game, SportsCenter did not show the highlights until 45 minutes into the show. And then, they hardly mentioned the fact that Rockets came back to win the game, let alone show any highlight of how it happened.

The only Sportscenter anchors I enjoy at all anymore are Dan Patrick and Kenny Mayne. Rich Eisen is not bad, but he has an odd tendency to match up with Stuart Scott, whom I loathe. Ahh, to be back in the good ol' days when Keith Oberman, Craig Kilborn and company were the big guys on the Center...they could make ANY sport entertaining.

Oh yeah, I guess that one chick anchor named Chris something is pretty good looking, plus she doesn't make too many stupid jokes, so I kind of like her.

It was Dan Patrick and Keith Olberman with Craig Kilborn as the third leg if one of them was not in it.

Too bad Keith Olberman went to MSNBC to go call play by play of the whole Cliton/Lewisky fiasco.
Remember his "eat something comercial" Bostom Market comercial?

I thinks Suzy Kolber is pretty hot.

I like all the guys on SC now, especially Kenny Mayne. But thats because I don't remember Kilborn and all those guys.

    Why did Olberman leave?

He supposedly wanted to do something non-sports related, and went to CNBC.

Anyone remember Lou Palmer? George Grande? Australian Rules football?

I used to teach school and in the early 80s one of my students was a UNC sports nut. He used to come in all the time talking about this thing ESPN. I didn't have cable. I had never seen it.

I couldn't imagine it. Howard Cosell's highlights were a delight. Anyone remember when ABC used to do a 30-minute show early every Sunday morning with highlights from 3-5 of the previous day's college football highlights.

    Ohio State. Notre Dame.
