No, no I don't. I just wanted to be close to you when I went to those games this year.

I also went to all the home games last year just because I liked last year's set of pom girls better.

    You've figured me out.

    OSU should pound Kent State.

Texas got a good draw. There isn't a team in their half that UT isn't capable of beating.

Oh my god!!! OU got a #2 seed! What the hell do we have to do?? We won the Big 12 tournament, we beat Kansas, the #1 team in the country. Hell, we've beaten the top two teams in the country! We were ranked 4 in the country before today and now that we beat Kansas they want us to believe we're actually no better than 5?! You know what? **** the ncaa selection commitee. They can all go to hell.

Man, did you see the **** they did to Gonzaga?? The team goes 27-3 and gets a #6 seed? They were ranked frickin' number 8 in the whole damn nation. Gonzaga got the same f*ckin seed as Texas, who wasn't even in the top 25! This is such bullsh*t!

I like the chances of it snowing in Houston in March, than UT winning anything in March.

    Good luck against BC.

I'd like to get Haven's take.

btw, I'm not hoping/praying for a UT loss. I think we will lose. We haven't been very good in March. That's a fact.

I think Texas will win. But oddly, I think that it doesn't really matter if Texas has a good game or a bad game. The outcome depends on how BC plays.

I really didn't think we were even going to get a tournament birth. Hell, I don't think we deserve one. BC can, one day, beat a very good team. Then a couple days later, lose to a cellar dweller.

We don't have a single consistent player. Not one. Really amazing when you think about it.

Troy Bell, junior - perhaps the second best PG in college basketball when he's hot. Can stroke 3's from significantly beyond the NBA line, can take a man off the dribble. Goes off for 40 on occasion with absurd shooting stats, despite being double teamed. Can also disappear when double teamed. Very rare for him to disappear when single-teamed... so I suppose he's our most consistent player as well as our best. He's really a 2 guard on a 1's body, though. Doesn't have great distributing instincts at all.

Ryan Sidney, sophomore- Looked better than Bell in the beginning... was averaging 20/9 until he broke his jaw. Has better insincts than Bell at at involving teammates. Inferior ball skills, but can really find the open guy. He didn't miss a game, but hasn't looked the same since. He's clearly more afraid of driving now, and tends to either post up or shoot jumpers. Almost never takes his man off the dribble anymore, though he obviously can (did so very well before the injury). Shoots 40% from 3 pt land, but only 50% from the free throw line. Very odd. Rebounds extraordinarily well for a 2, and plays like a PF.

Kenny Walls, senior- spot up shooter. Will occasionally take someone off the dribble, but tis very rare. Smart defender, but not athletically gifted.

Uka Agbai, junior - Very tough player. Unfortunately, he ends up being guarded by C's far too often, since our own centers are terrible. Tends to either be a force or barely show up. Has a good post game, nice spin moves... decent hook shot... range is about 15-18 feet.

Doornenkamp, freshman - Starting center... has a nice stroke for a 7'1 guy, but has no ability to post up or create for himself. Pitiful defense. Fouls constantly

Brian Ross - back-up center. He has "senior toughness," but plays like an idiot. Turns it over half the time he touches it. Small for a C. Has 3 point range, but no post game. He's a good rebounder and tends to pick-up garbage points.

Andrew Bryant, freshman- Should play much more than he does. Plays PF, SF, and occasionally C. Has 3 point range, though he tends to make htem all or none at all. VERY high arc on his shots. Not most of a post game. Decent defender. Can be caught napping, though.

Jermaine Watson - Freshman, will be frickin' scary next year. Very quick, good ball skills, great at taking his man off the dribble... needs to improve his jumper. Has very quick hands on defense, but tends to gamble too much. He'd have put up great #'s of Sidney and Bell didn't play the entirety of so many games.

Coaching: Al Skinner tends to encourage our team to run like mad. They fastbreak at every opportunity... sometimes when they shouldn't. Runs a flex offense, but sometimes ball movement seems to stagnate. Bell is by far the best offensive player on the team... but Sidney is the best creator. Bell needs the ball... but sometimes, it's better for everyone else when Sidney has it. This causes a sort of... imbalance, that can really hurt BC. When it's rolling, they pretty much alternate time with the ball. When one of them is off, the other takes the ball too much, and the offense becomes predictable. BC will go through HUGE offensive droughts... then make 3 or 4 3's in a row.

Skinner's rotations are dubious, sometimes. OUr centers are really pretty worthless. The team is at its best when it goes with 3 guards, or when Andrew Bryant plays C despite his size limitations. At least Bryant and Watson can score. Our centers can neither defend, nor score. But Skinner seems to like having a true C on the court, even if it seems that our team plays best without one.

    Overall... I'll say this:

If Troy Bell, Sidney and one other player... anybody... have good games... I think BC will win. I like TJ Ford, but Bell will be the best player on the court. If he's on, he's unstoppable, regardless of how you defend him. He's just that good of a shooter.

If Sidney can manage his usual 16 or so... then just one of the other guys needs to step up. And one usually does, oddly enough. Whether its Bryant, Agbai, Watson, or Wells... one of them will usually contribute some nice points and clutch plays.

The other real question is BC's interior defense: we have no shot blocker of note. Good perimeter defense... but if Texas can consistently hammer the ball inside... they'll be more successful. The guards do play the passing lanes well, however. \

I'm really annoyed that my favorite teams are playing each other in the first round . Stupid selection committee. But I guess, at least one will make it out of the first round ;).

I think UT is right were they should be. I was thinking they were going to be given the seventh.

UT doesn't even have a home court advantage in Austin.
