I can't remember the cost implications of cutting Green but this doesn't look good for him. We already have a ton of backs on the team for the preseason so I don't think they'd be looking at Shipp unless Green's injury is worse than they say or is in danger of being cut. I sure hope Slaton has a good showing with the first team next week because I think he makes the offense that much more dynamic/explosive.
