Like the new feature

Yes, I like new features, that make the site fun. After all, since the team is playing bad, at least we can see how many posts we have.

A serious/humor setting would be really nice. If somebody posts something absurd in a long thread, they could flip a switch to humor and this would be reflected in the page that lists all the current threads and the last post time. It is annoying to waste time pulling up a thread for nonsense postings.

But I guess it is a good incentive to be a little more chat-ty.

I like the feature too. It's great, especially for us newbies, to be able to see who is a newcomer and who is an old hand.

Not to mention, now I can see how close I am to becomming a full fledged member!

Surely I'm getting close...

I think I registered way before Feb, 99, I've been a frequent visitor to this website (since the cc.com days) since 96 and registered maybe in 97 or 98. Maybe there was a Y2K wipeout of some kind?

Who's going to be the first member to reach 10,000 posts? The first member to 10,000 posts will truly be a boardified/certified Rocket Freak.

If the Rockets get Kenyon Martin I predict Francis3 will be the first member to 10'000, no doubt.

If theres a ton of pointless threads and somebody needs to be reminded of their absurdity, then Heypartner could give Francis3 a run for his money.

I think it's because Clutch put up the new BBS early last year. Remember when we all had to re-register at the new board?
