Go vote for Steve!!! right now its:

    Kidd, Nets - 55%
    Payton, Sonics - 13%
    Nash, Mavs - 8%
    Francis, Rockets - 5%
    Miller, Cavs - 5%

C'mon!!! Nash can't be better than Miller. Kidd is not 42% better than Payton....maybe 25-30 but not 40+. What a BS poll. GET STEVE HIGHER!!!!!

Funny, who is the guy named "Other" that is getting like 2%, tied with Cassell and Marbury?

I think it's fairly easy to see why Nash is in the poll. Nash IS a top 5-7 PG in the league, depending on what criteria you grade with. Plus, his team is leading (albeit narrowly) their division. Is he more talented or gifted than Cassell, Marbury, Francis or Miller? Nope. But the results and stats speak for themselves.

Why shouldn't he be in the poll??? Only reason I can think of is the hair.

To me, Nash has been overglamourized by his hair, and his past girlfriends.

I think he's a decent PG, but I don't think he should be a choice for being the best PG.

Cassell and Nash are probably the 2 worst defensive PGs in the league. They are as bad if not worse than Moochie on defense.

How is it a BS poll? What, so now anything that is not in favor of a Rockets player is BS? It's a vote from fans all over the world on the most visited site related to basketball. (nba.com) Come on!!

What kind of statement is "Kidd is not 42% better than Payton....maybe 25-30 but not 40+"??!? That is...omg. This poll doesn't tell you how much better a PG is than the other, it's just voting for the best PG and Kidd is that player.
As for Francis, he lost a lot of votes cuz of his poor showing at the all-star game....i know that it was just one night....but it was also prolly the one night that any Rockets players was shown on national TV.;) Miller just doesn't get noticed because he is a Cav, nuff said. Payton is up there because of his reputation from all his years. Nash is a good PG, but i agree with kidrock. He is shown on TV... A LOT and has great players surrounding him. Of course he is a good PG, but not #1 good.

    This poll should be
    Kidd - 100%
    Everyone else - 0%
Kidd is the best point guard in the league, all the people who voted for anyone else are just homers.

I'm gonna go with Payton. At least he can pass and shoot.

Hate to admit it, but Nash has schooled the Rockets this year. Do you think it was an accident that he was voted to the ALL STAR GAME?

Payton is the best pg in the league. He passes, scores and defends. He's lost Baker this yr and look where his team is now. Even at 33, he's still the best with Kidd at a close 2nd.

Agreed, but I'll go you one further. Payton is one of the best point guards every to play the game!!! I say they redo the top 50 players of all time and replace Pippen with Payton!
