im a muslim. and youre a discriminatory b*stard. i would never vote for a president that draws support from people that openly and happily berate and demean people of other faiths.

    regards.

As I stated in this very thread, there is nothing wrong with being a Muslim. There is however, something heinously wrong with lying about it, which we have reason to believe Obama did.

    Please read the entire thread.

He was never a Muslim. Do you believe that he was? Your credibility and ability to discern fact from internet rumor are on the line.

    I eagerly await your answer.

The good deeds of soldiers refusing to exterminate gypsies, homosexuals, jews, etc. More people throughout Europe and the United States not giving in to bias and bigotry against Jews, while hiding them, and relocating them.

The good deeds of people refusing to fight at all when ordered by Hitler. The good deeds of being willing to die for not fighting. If the overwhelming majority of the people and military in Germany and elsewhere had done those good deeds Nazism would have been defeated.

You can sit there and say it isn't possible, and people would never do that. You are probably right, but the problem again comes down to people not doing the good deeds. The truth still remains that doing the good deeds would have defeated the Nazis.

It certainly worked when India stopped the mighty British Empire and gained their independence.

If you think that's the worst he's said, dig around. I can't remember when he stopped calling Barack Obama "Balack Hussein Osama," but it was during the primaries. Now he says Barack Obama was simply registered as a muslim in a catholic school. It used to be that he was trained in a radical madrassa while eating American flags for lunch. And of course, adherence to Larry Sinclair's stories of an oral-sex-giving, cocaine-snorting, limo-cavorting Barack Obama was golden at the time. Just think of Stephen Colbert saying everything and it becomes much funnier.

why do you find a 101 different twisted and crazy ways to attack Obama???

    oh, because he's a democrat and you're a republican...

seriously TJ - all the conspiracy theories you have come up with about Obama - ranging from his religion, to his citizenship, to Wright, to all the other things, it puts you in league of people who think Jews were behind 9/11, that there is a secret society controlling the world, and that flourine in tap water is meant to control our minds.

Not even your fellow republicans come to your defense anymore. What are you doing man? This is crazy. Let it go.

His step father isn't posting crap in this forum. Do you believe he was? It's a yes or no question, and your credibility and ability to discern fact from internet rumor is on the line.

Who said they couldn't? If there is enough interest in it, it will happen. Let the market prevail...

It's a pretty simple linkage for people of faith (the hosts of the forum) that Nazis represent Evil.

We gotta gotta gotta stop taking Trader bait and giving him four pages of logic-based responses to these posts. Aggravating the masses with non-substantive, un-disprovable tear downs of Obama (or whatever happens to be at the top of his political opponents' ladder) is the only thing he's got left. I understand it takes restraint, and I understand I am guilty of it even as I type, but 'take the bet' should be the only response he ever gets ever.

To recap that which others have said many times: His goal is not meaningful conversation - it is to fluster the progress meaningful conversation. Other than skirting the edges of overt racism (occasionally slipping over), it is literally his only skill. It is the one thing I will concede him as a poster - he knows how to push buttons. But in the end, he is only a moderately effective Hannity / Limbaugh parrot - unaccountable, not-fact-based, one-note played over and over. It can be a crazy-making interruption in the midst of substantive conversation, but take it for what it is - basically a type of purposeful nuisance and distraction that needs other people's anger and alarm to survive. He tells himself he is a brave thinker. He is an intellectual parasite.

We've all been reading his antagonistic crap for years now, and he thinks people say this about him because they disagree with politically. He's wrong, of course. They say it because it takes at least a modest amount of accountability (not disappearing when proven wrong) and respect (showing some understanding that political opponents might not be morally inferior to you) to have a debate, and he has neither of those things. It has zilch to do with political perspective, though his style and politics share an incoherent quasi-patriotic-quasi-moral meanness and pathological disregard for fellow man. His Conquistador thing, that arrogance-humor-voice, which Rush Limbaugh uses on his show to great effect, is so so sad - Trader has rarely been funny, Rush actually is - it is just a direct rip off of superior antagonists such as Rush, Hannity, Michael Savage and others. Like a guy at karaoke night who has pinpointed Axl Rose's mannerisms, but has a comically bad voice. The guy thinks people don't clap because they don't get Axl's genius. It is pathetic because it is so transparently insecure and self-unaware. This is Traders greatest self-delusion.

The blog is predictably pathetic - the preparation for 'taking and losing the bet' / getting banned finally from CC.net (which he is clearly glued to despite massive professional obligations with mexican industrialists) he thinks people will follow him there when he finally leaves. Of course they will not. No one save a fellow dittohead would read the writing voluntarily. However, the frustration of more courageous, witty and sophisticated authors than himself is the lifeblood of his more-important-to-him-than-we-could-imagine second career as a political analyst on a basketball site. The frustration is the oxygen. Silence will suffocate.

So, with that, my last post to you this election season is:

    Strap on a set
    Take the bet

I'll happily double your time away from the board in matching funds should Obama lose.

I apologize for indulging my observations, and understand the irony is asking people to cut off his supply of responses as soon as possible.

Apples and Oranges. An ages-old occupation that raised defiance versus a war of extermination and dominance.

I get your purity of thought but when it comes down to surviving, you do what you have to do. I wouldn't stand by idly watching my family get destroyed.

The principle isn't really apples and oranges. The Indians simply refused to do any work or anything else that their occupiers wanted them to do. Many died, but in the end they won their independence. Quite simply if enough people have the courage and resolve to sacrifice no army can make them do anything.

I don't blame anyone for not doing that, but the point still remains that good deeds, faith, courage and all of that can defeat evil.

I think it's the best way because wars encourage more wars, revenge, bitterness, etc. Also it is certainly the most Christ like way if that matters to anyone.

Were the British breaking up families and rounding them up and deporting them on trains to points unknown? I believe that was done at rifle point and non-compliants were shot on the spot. Apples and Oranges...

Anybody who doesn't struggle with these issues is either a liar or a moron. I wonder which camp you fall into?

It may be unfair of you... to leave out the "both" option.
